Ephesians 1:19-23 -- And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Dear Friend:
I want to encourage you today to look up. God is a good God!

In Ephesians 1:19, Paul says that the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead has also raised every born-again believer from spiritual death to new life in Him!  Jesus was raised from the dead and is seated at God's right hand in the heavenly realm -- far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in this present age, but in the age to come.

In Ephesians 2:6, Paul says that God raised us (every born-again believer), up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:6 -- And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:

Luke 10:19 -- Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Essentially, Jesus said, "I have given YOU (every born-again believer) authority and power to overcome all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. Nothing!"

Our heavenly Father desires for us to trust His Word and believe Him. As we do that, it will activate His promises on our behalf. God is a good God and He loves you!

Psalm 37:25 -- I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalm 37:25 says the righteous will never be forsaken, nor will their seed have to beg for bread. God wants to give good things to those who will trust Him. So LOOK UP, your future is secure in Him!

God bless you,
Gary Ragsdale -- Senior Pastor
