Dear Friend in Christ: I believe this is a year that we will rejoice because of His goodness. The question may be how do we believe for this to be a good year, when things do not look that way? Be committed to the truth of the Word that God is a good God, and He is good all the time! Jesus said, "…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b) |

Choose to believe His words. Jesus also said, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." (Luke 6:38) As a tither and a giver, you have the right to receive the blessings of God. If we will be faithful and trust His Word, we will overcome. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: -- Numbers 23:19a God does not lie. He is a God of truth. The truth of His Word will set us free! I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: -- Deut. 30:19 We must choose to believe the Word of God, to be obedient to His Word, and to expect the blessings of Almighty God. He wants to prove Himself in times like these. Let Him prove to you that He is a good God. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is the God above all gods. So, let's trust Him and we will see that He is good. God has asked us at Word of Truth Christian Center to seek the peace and prosperity of this city. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. -- Jeremiah 29:7 As we join hands and hearts with other believers, we will see the goodness of the Lord.
